Competitive Selection Launched for Private ECD Support Program

 

The Ministry of Enlightenment of the Kyrgyz Republic, together with the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS), with the support of the World Bank, announces the opening of competitive selection for participants in the Program to Support the Establishment and/or Expansion of Private Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centers, implemented under the National Community Initiatives Project (NCIP).

The Program is aimed at expanding access to quality ECD services, increasing the number of places in kindergartens, and creating a safe, modern, and stimulating environment for children in 40 target Ayil Aimaks.

Under the Program, grant support of up to US$10,000 (equivalent in national currency) is available for:

- purchase of furniture and equipment,

- procurement of educational and play materials,

- equipping group rooms,

- other resources required for ECD center operations.

The following are invited to participate in the competitive selection:

- individuals,

- individual entrepreneurs,

- legal entities.

 

Mandatory participation requirements:

- completion of the Program's training stages,

- preparation of a simplified business plan,

- compliance with current sanitary and fire safety regulations of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

Application deadline: February 18 to March 31, 2026, inclusive.
