Batken Region, September 11, 2025

M.D. Naspekov, the Executive Director of the Community Development and Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic (ARIS), visited several social facilities currently being built and renovated in the Batken region. This visit was part of his working trip related to the “Second Regional Economic Development Project” (REDP-2).

During his visit, Naspekov reviewed the progress of the reconstruction of Zhashtyk and Zhenish parks in Batken city, as well as the construction of a kindergarten for 90 children in the village of Taylan. As of now, the main construction activities at these sites have been completed:

- At the kindergarten, brickwork has been finished, plastering has been carried out, and utility networks have been installed.

- In the parks, a fountain, a flagpole, a skate park, and utility networks have been installed.

Work is actively ongoing to install paving stones, irrigation systems, lighting, and other landscaping elements.

Together with contractors, Naspekov discussed the different stages of construction and measures to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

“The reconstruction of parks and the construction of a kindergarten create new opportunities for the residents of the Batken region. Our main goal is to complete the work efficiently and on time so that the community can benefit from these facilities as soon as possible,” emphasized M.D. Naspekov.

All these activities are being conducted within the framework of the “Second Regional Economic Development Project” (REDP-2), which is financed by the World Bank and implemented by ARIS.
