REDP: Agreements have been signed with the winners of the additional round of the Small Grants Program
March 16, 2026, Osh. A ceremony of signing grant agreements with the winners of the additional round of the Small Grants Program (SGP), implemented within the framework of the Regional Economic Development Project (REDP), was held in the city of Osh.
The event gathered 62 successful entrepreneurs from all districts of the Osh region who had undergone a competitive selection process. These entrepreneurs confirmed their readiness to implement their business projects with the support of the program.
Representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Community Development and Investment Agency (ARIS), and experts from the Local Community Development Center (LCDC), which is responsible for implementing the program attended the ceremony.
During the ceremony, representatives from ARIS and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce highlighted the high potential of the selected projects, the significant involvement of women and youth in entrepreneurship, and the importance of tourism development for the socioeconomic growth of the region.
In response, the grant recipients expressed their gratitude for the opportunity and reiterated their commitment to effectively implement their projects, create new jobs, and contribute to the development of their communities.
