REDP-2: monitoring of social facilities in Batken region

ARIS Executive Director M.D. Naspekov, as part of his working trip to the Batken region, reviewed the progress of the implementation of social facilities within the framework of the “Second Regional Economic Development Project” (RED-2).

The meeting was also attended by RED-2 project coordinator G.K. Dzhumabekova, regional coordinator of RED-2 M. Imetov, project specialists and representatives of contractors.

During the visit, the following sites were visited:

• construction work in the parks “Zhenish” and “Zhashtyk” in Batken;

• site for the reconstruction of the Alleyka square in Kadamzhai;

• construction of a kindergarten for 90 children in the city of Kadamjay.

The implementation of these projects is important for improving the living conditions of the population and developing the social infrastructure of the region.

The working trip ended with an inspection of the facilities. The Executive Director emphasized the need to ensure high quality of all work carried out, noting the importance of sustainability and long-term effectiveness of the initiatives being implemented.
