Working visit to Razzakov city: monitoring the implementation of REDP-2 social projects

During a working visit to the city of Razzakov, representatives of the Zhogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Community Development and Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic reviewed the progress of social subprojects being implemented within the framework of the “Second Regional Economic Development Project in the Batken Region” (REDP-2).
The Vice-Speaker of the Zhogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ch.I.Azhibaev, Deputy of the Zhogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, I.E.Zhoroev, Mayor of Razzakov city, A.S. Zhorobaev, Executive Director of ARIS, M.D.Naspekov, and the coordinator of the REDP-2 project, G.K. Dzhumabekov, visited the project sites.
During the visit, the delegation visited the Zhoroev School, which is currently under construction and has a capacity of 225 students. Construction and installation work are currently underway at the site. The new educational institution will meet modern construction and educational standards, providing a safe and comfortable learning invironment for schoolchildren.
The participants also visited the village of Taylan, where they inspected a 90-child kindergarten under construction. Construction is currently 90% complete. This project will significantly contribute to the development of the region's preschool education system and will create modern conditions for the upbringing and comprehensive development of children.
During the visit, meetings were held with residents, representatives of local governments, and contractors. The discussions focused on the timely implementation of projects, adherence to deadlines, and ensuring high-quality construction work.
ARIS Executive Director Mars Naspekov emphasized the need to complete all projects on time and strictly adhere to building codes and standards. He noted that these projects are key to the socioeconomic development of the Batken region and directly impact the improvement of the population's quality of life.
It should be noted that the REDP-2 project is being implemented with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the World Bank. The Community Development and Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic is the implementing agency.
