The ceremony of raising the State Flag of the Kyrgyz Republic took place in Batken

On December 17, a ceremony was held to raise the State Flag of the Kyrgyz Republic on a 35-meter flagpole in the city of Batken. The event, accompanied by a military band, was significant for the local residents.

Attendees included Aibek Shamenov, the plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region; Seitek Kulubaev, the mayor of Batken; representatives from various government bodies; and local citizens.

During his speech, Aibek Shamenov emphasized that raising the National Flag symbolizes the sovereignty of the Kyrgyz Republic, national unity, and confidence in the future. He highlighted that the State Flag represents patriotism, responsibility, and love for the Motherland, bringing together all citizens of the country.

The installation of the 35-meter flagpole and the related infrastructure was part of a project to reconstruct Zhashtyk and Zhenish Parks in Batken. These efforts aim to enhance the urban environment, create comfortable public spaces, and strengthen the social infrastructure of the region.

This work was carried out as part of the "Second Regional Economic Development Project in the Batken Region," funded by the World Bank and implemented by the Community Development and Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
